Job Description

Tutors provide tutoring services to students who are capable of benefitting from instruction but are unable to attend school and/or unable to learn in the traditional classroom environment. The Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES provides Tutors to a wide geographical area. Tutor candidates who are screened, interviewed, and referenced may be presented to the Board of Education for approval. Tutor candidates will be required to complete onboarding paperwork, trainings, and provide further information related to areas of expertise and interest. This position is posted for the entire school year and applicants will only be reviewed as requests for services come in for this position throughout the year. Applicants will only be contacted when a position becomes available.
