Tutor (Core Subjects) | Location: Leicester & Surrounding Areas. Are you a subject expert with a passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning? At Randstad Tuition Services, we connect talented educators with young people who need it most. Whether it's re-engaging a student with Science or helping a learner master English, your 1:1 support can be the turning point in their education.

Job Responsibility:

  • Create personalized, engaging lesson plans tailored to individual learning styles
  • Support students with diverse needs, including SEN, LAC (Looked After Children), or those currently disengaged from mainstream education
  • Track progress and celebrate lightbulb moments using our internal reporting tools
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure every child has a holistic support system

Requirements:

  • Experience: A background in 1:1 tutoring or working within inclusion units/alternative provisions
  • Empathy: The ability to build meaningful relationships with students who may have undiagnosed SEN or educational trauma
  • Communication: Adaptable, inspirational, and tech-savvy (with your own laptop/broadband for potential online sessions)
  • Integrity: A commitment to safeguarding and KCSIE guidelines
