Job Description

We are seeking a committed Tutor Assessor Early Years to support the effective delivery of College services and priorities.

Job Responsibility

  • To develop and deliver on a range of learning programmes including Vocational pathways and T Levels
  • To contribute to the promotion of excellence in teaching/support, learning and assessment, working as part of a team in the Faculty
  • To be responsible for the organisation of teaching/support and learning for a specific assignment of learners
  • To promote and provide excellent customer service internally and externally in all areas of the role
  • Support the development of industry standard knowledge, skills and behaviours both in the classroom and via completing observations in work-placement for learners
  • Carry out duties in line with College policies and procedures, including safeguarding and equality commitments

Requirements

  • Experience of teaching and assessing Early Years within a Further Education setting
  • Ability to deliver engaging, high-quality teaching that inspires learners and drives achievement
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively
  • Experience of supporting learners pastorally, with an understanding of safeguarding in an FE environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with students, colleagues, and external partners
