Job Description:

Turndown Attendant position at The St. Regis Chicago, responsible for maintaining guest room cleanliness and amenities, responding to guest requests, and ensuring high standards of service in a luxury hotel environment.

Job Responsibility:

Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
Fill cart with supplies and transport to assigned area
Enter guest rooms following procedures
Replace guest amenities and supplies
Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items
Make beds and fold terry
Clean bathrooms
Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items
Check appliances are present and working
Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances
Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings
Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties

Requirements:

No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
No related work experience required
No supervisory experience required
No license or certification required
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
Ability to push and pull loaded housekeeping cart over sloping and uneven surfaces
Ability to reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods
Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
