Job Description:

Provides a comfortable evening environment in Guest Rooms by cleaning and refreshing the room in the early evening and preparing the room for the guest to sleep in.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepares the guest room for turndown service
  • Removes used towels and replaces them with clean ones
  • Wipes down any wet services in the bathroom
  • Folds any clothing left in room
  • Removes Room Service trays and dishes
  • Replaces used cups, saucers, spoons and glasses from the Minibar
  • Removes garbage from bins in bedroom and bathroom
  • Closes drapes, reduces lighting, turn music on softly and prepares bed
  • Submits all maintenance issues to the Engineering department
  • Add special touches to the guestrooms to enhance the guest experience
  • Restocks used amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery, pens and coffee, tea and sugar sachets
  • Prepares unoccupied rooms for turndown for arriving guests
  • Performs full Room Attendant duties in occupied rooms and late check-out rooms when needed
  • Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct
  • Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Previous experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to read, write and speak English

  • Check status of stayover rooms and arrival rooms and move rooms around in Room Attendant assignments and ensures all rooms are cleaned and inspected by 3pm
  • Bring to the attention of Housekeeping management should the possibility arise that not all rooms will be completed by 3pm
  • Manage Day Service and Turndown Service and contact all guests who have a “Do not disturb” through available channels such as Four Seasons Chat, emails or written notes
