This is a contract role for an ASAP start up until December 2027. The role supports turnaround materials and logistics for an oil and gas operator company. It combines offshore work up until the end of 2026, on a 2:2 roster, 11-hour days. And from January to December 2027, you’ll be based in Perth’s office working 9 days a fortnight. You’ll be working with the Lead Material Coordinator in a FIFO environment managing on-site materials and contractor activities during shutdowns, supports planning, procurement, and stakeholder coordination off-cycle, ensuring compliance and effective inventory control.
Job Responsibility:
Turnaround Planning & Preparation: Lead end-to-end material planning, including BOM development in JDE, procurement coordination for long-lead items, and oversight of kitting, staging, and logistics, while tracking readiness, risks, and KPIs and aligning with stakeholders
Execution & Contractor Management: Manage on-site material operations and contractor warehouse teams, overseeing daily activities, enforcing safety standards, resolving issues, coordinating vendors, and reporting on performance and risks
Close-Out & Continuous Improvement: Coordinate material returns, reconciliation, and system updates, manage demobilisation, support audits and cost recovery, and drive lessons learned and seamless handover to operations
Requirements:
5+ years in materials/supply chain (heavy industry)
Strong JDE ERP & turnaround materials experience
Skilled in ABU tools & turnaround systems (P6, EcoSys)
FIFO contractor supervision experience
Able to manage fast-paced, multi-priority environments
Proficient in MS Office
