Job Description:

Our client, a welcoming and inclusive academy primary school in Enfield, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Turkish-speaking SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide 1:1 support for a pupil in Year 4 with Special Educational Needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s academic, social and emotional development within a supportive school environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide 1:1 support for a pupil in Year 4 with SEN needs
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver personalised support
  • Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
  • Support the child’s engagement, confidence and progress
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with parents in Turkish and English
  • Attend meetings and contribute to progress reviews where required

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Turkish and English (spoken and written)
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN (preferred)
  • Experience within a primary school setting
  • Patient, nurturing and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
