Job Description

To safely cut and portion poultry on a moving cone line or trim belt to the highest quality standards.

Ensure Health & Safety policies and procedures are always followed
Report any safety concerns immediately to your Line Leader or Manager
Maintain product quality in line with company standards and training provided by your trainer, line leader, or manager
Work as part of a small team of butchers on a moving cone line to achieve production targets
Manually lift, cut, and portion poultry in a physically demanding production environment
Use the correct tools, equipment, and PPE required for the role at all times
Follow company hygiene policies at all times
Ensure the work area is left clean and free from waste at the end of each shift
Clean and maintain gloves, aprons, and protective equipment daily
Take part in all training provided and apply it positively in the workplace
Report any hazards or potential risks immediately to a supervisor or manager
Report all accidents immediately, no matter how small, and complete the required accident report form
Ensure all doors are closed when not in use
Ensure ear protection is clean, safe, and worn at all times in production areas.
