Job Description

The Technical Services Implementation Engineer role at NTT DATA is an entry-level position focused on learning and executing configurations and installations while providing support for break/fix events. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computing and have a basic understanding of technical design principles. Job Responsibility

  • Learns the ability to start 'owning' portions of an installation, break/fix incidents, and problem management during project lifecycle
  • Functions jointly with the Implementation Engineering team to meet client requirements
  • Action less complex configurations and installations
  • Attend to less complex break/fix events during project lifecycle
  • Provides support and work alongside with Senior Associate/L2 and other senior support engineers
  • Performs any other related task as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field
  • Relevant vendor certification(s) as required
  • Entry level experience gained in a similar role, preferably within a global IT services organization
  • Basic understanding and appreciation of technical design principles
  • Ability to develop an understanding of fundamental project and administration processes
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate a client service orientation
  • Hands-on proactive in approach
  • The ability to work overtime when required
  • Some exposure to deployments for less complex tasks
  • Understanding of two or more technologies, namely Data Center, Networking, Security, Collaboration, Customer experience, End User Compute etc.
