Job Description:

Contract-to-Permanent position offering an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to support a dynamic legal practice specializing in trust and estates, real estate, and litigation in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

Assist attorneys with trust and estate matters, including estate planning and litigation
Provide support for both residential and commercial real estate transactions
Handle e-filing and court filings with accuracy and efficiency
Manage attorneys' calendars and schedules to ensure deadlines are met
Proofread and review legal documents for errors and inconsistencies
Prioritize tasks effectively to meet the demands of a busy legal environment
Collaborate with the paralegal and legal team to ensure smooth operations
Adapt to constructive feedback to improve work quality and processes
Maintain organized records and files for swift retrieval

Requirements:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Trusts & Estates Legal Assistant or in a related role
Proficiency in e-filing and court filing systems
Familiarity with trust and estates
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy in proofreading and document preparation
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
Ability to accept and incorporate constructive criticism effectively

Nice to have:

Residential and commercial real estate familiarity
Experience in estate planning and litigation
