Job Description

Our client is seeking a Trusts & Estates Attorney for an ongoing contract role supporting a busy estates practice. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys complex drafting, estate planning strategy, and working closely with partners and senior attorneys on a long-term basis.

Job Responsibility

  • Draft and revise estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents
  • Conduct legal research on estate planning issues, probate matters, and trust administration topics
  • Support attorneys with preparation of trust accountings, schedules, and related documentation
  • Assist with reviewing and organizing financial, tax, or estate-related information
  • Prepare summaries, analyses, and supporting documentation for attorney review
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders as needed

Requirements

  • 3+ years of trusts & estates experience within a law firm or estate planning practice
  • Strong understanding of estate planning concepts, probate processes, and trust administration
  • Excellent drafting skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Strong research, analytical, and communication skills
  • California barred and in good standing
