Job Responsibility

  • Represent clients in trusts and estates litigation cases before probate and civil courts
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
  • Manage discovery processes, including depositions and negotiations, to build strong cases
  • Advise clients on probate and trust administration issues, offering strategic guidance tailored to their needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues across various practice areas to develop innovative legal solutions
  • Prepare and deliver compelling arguments in court to advocate for client interests
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting trusts and estates

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on trusts and estates or probate litigation preferred
  • Proficient in estate planning, probate litigation, and civil litigation practices
  • Active member of the California State Bar in good standing
  • Strong legal research, drafting, and courtroom advocacy skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive client matters with empathy and professionalism
  • Solid understanding of estate law, probate administration, and tax considerations
