Job Responsibility:
Represent clients in trusts and estates litigation cases before probate and civil courts
Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Manage discovery processes, including depositions and negotiations, to build strong cases
Advise clients on probate and trust administration issues, offering strategic guidance tailored to their needs
Collaborate with colleagues across various practice areas to develop innovative legal solutions
Prepare and deliver compelling arguments in court to advocate for client interests
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting trusts and estates
Build and foster strong relationships with clients to understand their goals and provide empathetic support
Participate in continuing legal education and skill development to enhance expertise
Ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures while delivering high-quality legal services
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on trusts and estates or probate litigation preferred
Proficient in estate planning, probate litigation, and civil litigation practices
Active member of the California State Bar in good standing
Strong legal research, drafting, and courtroom advocacy skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively within a team
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive client matters with empathy and professionalism
Solid understanding of estate law, probate administration, and tax considerations
