Job Responsibility

  • Conduct consultations with clients to assess their estate planning and probate needs
  • Draft and execute estate planning documents with precision and adherence to legal standards
  • Supervise paralegal staff to ensure efficient workflow and quality output
  • Represent clients during court appearances related to probate and estate matters
  • Maintain meticulous organizational practices to manage case files and deadlines effectively
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, colleagues, and external parties
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to prepare documents and manage schedules
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards
  • Provide guidance on complex estate and probate issues to clients

Requirements

  • Active bar admission in the state of New York
  • Notary public certification is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills
  • Detail-oriented approach with the ability to handle sensitive matters discreetly
  • 2-5 years of experience in estate planning, probate, or related legal practice
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
