Job Description:

Seeking an 'Trust Associate' to work in a respected Trust here in ABQ. Looking for someone that is self-sufficient and self-motivated- Can train, but must be experienced with Microsoft Excel, light QuickBooks as well is helpful. Working in a dynamic, professional, financial/bank-related office environment. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, initiative, dependability, high level of motivation, and the ability to multi-task. Outstanding organizational skills, excellent follow-up skills, detail oriented, and an ability to work well under pressure is critical. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required. Must be able to pass a background and credit check.

Job Responsibility:

  • Open/Closes all assigned trust accounts on trust accounting system
  • Liaison between various Operations Department functions and the Trust Officer
  • Maintains a tickler system for all assigned trust accounts, performs duties with a high level of follow-up
  • Processes payments, distributions, real estate taxes, and estimated tax payments for assigned accounts
  • Communicates with clients, beneficiaries, portfolio managers, attorneys, CPAs and other trust professionals regarding accounts as assigned
  • Monitors account activity ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, rules and regulations
  • Maintains accurate files and records of assigned accounts
  • Serves as a back up for Front Desk Administrator
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Experienced with Microsoft Excel
  • light QuickBooks as well is helpful
