Job Responsibility

  • Handle estate planning and administration tasks, including drafting legal documents, asset protection strategies, and wealth transfer techniques
  • Prepare estate tax returns, gift tax returns, and manage probate administration processes
  • Administer high-value trusts, including foreign trusts and complex estate planning matters
  • Provide guidance on fiduciary tax matters and oversee compliance with relevant regulations
  • Represent clients in Surrogates Court and manage legal proceedings related to estate administration
  • Collaborate with clients to develop tailored solutions for multi-generational wealth planning
  • Conduct thorough reviews and updates of trust agreements to ensure alignment with current laws

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid license to practice law
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in trust and estates law
  • Proficiency in estate planning, administration, and wealth transfer techniques
  • Knowledge of fiduciary tax regulations and trust administration practices
  • Experience preparing estate and gift tax returns
  • Familiarity with Surrogates Court procedures and probate administration
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
