Job Responsibility:
Draft comprehensive estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, health care directives, and powers of attorney
Manage estate and trust administration processes, such as preparing settlement agreements, overseeing accountings, and modifying trust agreements
Assist with the formation and governance of business entities, including LLCs, corporations, and partnerships, along with necessary filings under the Corporate Transparency Act
Prepare and negotiate legal documents for business transactions, including purchase agreements, employment contracts, and real estate leases
Conduct detailed legal research in areas such as taxation, corporate law, and estate planning
Review and prepare fiduciary and personal income tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail
Collaborate effectively with other departments or practice areas to support comprehensive client solutions
Maintain strong client relationships by addressing their needs and providing clear communication throughout legal processes
Ensure compliance with legal standards and deadlines in all aspects of work
Requirements:
Active bar license in good standing to practice law in Pennsylvania
A minimum of 2-5+ years of experience requiring attention to detail in Trusts, Estates, and Corporate Law
Strong skills in client management and effective, detail-oriented communication
Ability to perform complex legal research and draft detailed legal documents
Familiarity with corporate and estate taxation processes
Reliable ability to commute to Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, as needed for firm responsibilities
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
