Job Description

Our client is seeking a Trust and Estate Paralegal to join their team in a on-site capacity. This role will support day-to-day operations within Trust and Estate Administration, with a focus on efficiency, organization, and high-quality work product. The ideal candidate brings strong experience, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Draft estate planning documents (wills, trusts, POAs, healthcare directives)
  • Support trust administration, including asset collection, distributions, and accountings
  • Prepare and file probate documents
  • track court deadlines
  • Assist with trust funding (deeds, asset transfers, beneficiary updates)
  • Gather financial records and prepare asset inventories/valuations
  • Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, and financial institutions
  • Assist with estate and fiduciary tax prep alongside attorneys/CPAs
  • Maintain organized files and monitor key deadlines

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in related field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or relevant systems
  • Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
