Our client, a leading Elder Law Firm located in Cherry Creek is seeking a 2 plus years Paralegal to support their busy estate administration practice. This is a transactional paralegal position.
Job Responsibility:
Drafting legal documents documents and correspondence
Draft court filings and other government filings (IRS and Secretary of State)
Gathering and reviewing documentation from clients and third parties to determine tasks of administration and case priorities
Asset and creditor evaluation and analysis
Perform and assist in tasks for funding trusts and entities, including titling and retitling of assets
Attorney/Client meetings and communication, including with other professionals and advisors
Assist in preparation of 706/709 Estate and Gift tax returns
Draft other legal documents, such as Estate Planning documents, Entity formation and operations documents, pre/post martial planning documents
Providing support to and working with a senior paralegal
Performing general file management, including file (physical and digital) creation, routine maintenance and closure
Requirements:
2 years of experience of working in a professional services environment
Strong and professional client relations skills
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and digital documents
Exceptional skills for project/case organization and attention to detail
At least 2 years of paralegal or comparable experience in a legal or services setting
Background supporting trust and estate administration, probate, estate planning, or related transactional legal work
Strong ability to build client relationships and communicate effectively with attorneys and external contacts
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and digital document management tools
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines, priorities, and detailed case materials
High level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail when handling sensitive legal and financial information
Experience with estate tax, fiduciary matters, or related filings is strongly preferred
