Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join a team in Wilmington, Delaware. This is a long-term part-time contract position that offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the organization’s operations by providing vital administrative support. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You would work 20 hours per week.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform general administrative duties, including answering inbound calls and managing correspondence
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure proper data entry into organizational systems
  • Provide receptionist services by greeting visitors and directing them appropriately
  • Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and other events as needed
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation
  • Monitor and manage office supplies to ensure availability when needed
  • Support departmental operations and collaborate with team members to achieve goals
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in administrative or office support roles
  • Proficiency in data entry and basic computer applications
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with receptionist duties and customer service practices
