As a Truck Driver, your primary responsibility is the prompt delivery of materials to job sites. Given the critical nature of this role, safety is paramount. Job Responsibility:
Deliver various types of materials that are required for each job site
Operate truck with a standard transmission
Responsible for proper loading and securing loads on truck and trailer
Pick up miscellaneous materials at the suppliers
Clean up shop and yard when not making deliveries
Responsible for minor maintenance on trucks
Requirements:
Must have a valid Class A CDL license and a good driving record with DOT Certification
Must be able to drive a one-ton truck pulling a tandem axle trailer
Must have previous flat bed experience
Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds frequently
Must be able to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time
Must be able to sit and drive the truck for long periods of time
Job requires considerable amounts of bending, stooping, and carrying of metal products
The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required
You must be legally authorized to work in the United States for our company without the need for current or future visa sponsorship
