Job Description

Northline are on the lookout for HR and MC Drivers to join our Darwin team. Ideally you will enjoy working in a small team, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong multi-tasking skills. We currently have permanent full-time positions available, Monday to Friday, commencing from approx. 6/7am. As an experienced HR and MC Drivers, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of freight to Northline's customers as well as loading and unloading a variety of freight.

Job Responsibility

  • Accurate and timely delivery of customer's freight
  • Ensure freight and deliveries match up and are consistent with current paperwork
  • Constant communication with the depot (manager/supervisor)
  • Maintaining a truck log to align with current state legislation
  • Operating a forklift
  • Manual handling of freight and curtain gates

Requirements

  • Hold a current and valid HR, HC or MC Licence
  • Hold a current Forklift Licence (LF)
  • Be physically fit to handle repetitive lifting of freight/opening and closing of curtains
  • Transport industry experience with general freight carriers is highly regarded
  • Experience working in physically demanding conditions and fast-paced environment
  • An awareness of Load Restraint and Dangerous Goods will be highly regarded
