Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver various types of materials that are required for each job site
  • Operate truck with a standard transmission
  • Responsible for proper loading and securing loads on truck and trailer
  • Pick up miscellaneous materials at the suppliers
  • Clean up shop and yard when not making deliveries
  • Responsible for minor maintenance on trucks
  • The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid Class A CDL license and a good driving record with DOT Certification
  • Must be able to drive a one-ton truck pulling a tandem axle trailer
  • Must have previous flat bed experience
  • May be required to deliver across state lines
  • Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds frequently
  • Must be able to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time
  • Must be able to sit and drive the truck for long periods of time
  • Job requires considerable amounts of bending, stooping, and carrying of metal products
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for our company without the need for current or future visa sponsorship
