Truck and Coach Technician (310T)
Experience repairing and maintaining trucks through inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems
Able to lift 60lbs
Valid driver’s license

Job Responsibility

Servicing and troubleshooting vehicles and equipment
Performing preventive maintenance on equipment
Interpreting work orders and technical manuals
Maintaining work logs and meeting deadlines
Anticipating problems before they happen
Looking for ways to maximize role and make operation better

Proven experience as a 310T Mechanic
Possession of a valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician license
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with a variety of heavy-duty vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and braking systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

Job Responsibility

Diagnosis and Repairs: Conduct thorough diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks, to identify and resolve mechanical issues
Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, brake inspections, and engine tune-ups, to keep the fleet in optimal condition
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services, and inspections, and provide detailed reports as needed
Adherence to Safety Standards: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and guidelines
Collaboration: Work closely with other mechanics and team members to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize fleet performance
Equipment Inspections: Review pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and address potential problems before they escalate

High School diploma
Must hold a valid provincial license/endorsement as an Automotive Service Technician, Heavy Duty, and/or Truck and Coach, as recognized by the applicable provincial authority or the Red Seal Program
