Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with an international law firm seeking an experienced Trial Specialist/Trial Paralegal. The Trial Specialist is responsible for providing advanced, complex support to litigation attorneys and overseeing all aspects of trial and other dispute resolution proceedings, including mediation and arbitration. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a hybrid schedule (three days in office and additional time as needed during trial).
Job Responsibility:
Serve as lead trial paralegal on complex litigation matters, providing full trial and courtroom support
Prepare and manage trial materials, including witness binders, exhibits, deposition designations, and electronic presentations
Coordinate document production, case files, chronologies, and litigation databases through trial and appeal
Manage all trial logistics, including war rooms, courtroom setup, travel, and witness/expert scheduling
Assist with depositions, voir dire, jury selection, trial testimony, transcripts, and post‑trial filings
Conduct legal and factual research, draft and proofread filings, and ensure case milestones are met
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required (equivalent experience may be considered)
A minimum of 10 years’ experience as senior level Litigation Paralegal
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills using precedent and prior experience
Working knowledge of litigation databases, including but not limited to: Relativity, Case Notebook, CaseMap, Concordance, Trial Director, Sanction, etc.
Ability to supervise and provide direction, mentoring, training and assistance to practice support and other office staff as appropriate
Substantial knowledge of legal concepts, methodologies, and relevant areas of law (e.g. litigation, IP, etc.)
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client‑service skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage deadlines, follow direction, and work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to travel on short notice and work more than 37.5 hours a week if necessary
Ability to safely lift, move and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
