In this position, you will work closely with experienced trial attorneys on active, high-value cases. You will take on meaningful litigation responsibilities early in your career — not after years of support work — with a clearly defined path toward becoming a Lead Trial Attorney.
Job Responsibility:
Draft substantive motions, briefs, pleadings, and discovery
Conduct in-depth legal research that informs case strategy
Prepare cases for mediation and trial from the outset
Collaborate with expert witnesses on liability, damages, and medical issues
Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
Gradually take ownership of depositions, motion arguments, and trial components
Maintain all files in a consistent trial-ready posture
Requirements:
Licensed and in good standing with Texas bar
1-5 years of experience (litigation experience preferred)
