Trial Attorney

• Assist with and progressively take ownership of: Trial preparation (including strategy development)
• Motions practice (including motions in limine (MILs))
• Hearing preparation and oral argument
• Participate in trials as 1st or 2nd chair, depending on experience level
• Manage substantive portions of litigation matters as experience allows
• Support overall case strategy, including: Legal research and writing
• Fact development and case theory
• Attend and participate in: Hearings
• Court appearances
• Trials across California (travel required)
• Work closely with trial teams in high-exposure matters
• Contribute to: Discovery disputes
• Motion practice
• Trial preparation workflows and case execution
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy

• Active California Bar license (required)
• Must be based in California
• For more experienced candidates: Background in civil litigation
• Exposure to hearings, motion practice, and trial prep
• Strong interest in trial work and courtroom advocacy
• Familiarity with: Motion drafting, Trial preparation processes, Litigation procedures (state court experience preferred)
• Ability to ramp quickly and manage increasing responsibility
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment
• Willingness to travel for court appearances across California
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills

Experience in litigation is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates
