Job Responsibility

  • The Triage Resource RN functions at the Standard Level of nursing practice and is responsible for the independent application of the nursing process while providing patient care
  • patient and family education
  • using department protocols and procedures to perform phone triage
  • education and advice to patients and families
  • utilization of standing orders for prescription refills
  • Participates in Quality Improvement projects and processes within the scope of practice
  • Performs other duties as assigned from time to time as required

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree
  • 3 Years of Experience
  • California RN License
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 Years of Experience
  • CPN or other pediatric certification
