We are looking for a Treasury Manager to lead a time-sensitive banking transition for a Contract position based in Washington, District of Columbia. This role will oversee the movement of multiple bank accounts to a new banking partner while helping ensure a smooth experience for customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings strong project leadership within treasury environments and can drive execution in a fast-paced setting with minimal disruption to daily financial operations.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of a banking transition project, keeping milestones, priorities, and stakeholders aligned throughout the engagement
Coordinate the setup of new bank accounts and manage the activities required to close out or replace existing banking arrangements
Direct the migration of payment and cash management activities for a large vendor base, ensuring continuity of disbursement processes
Oversee outreach planning and execution for customer banking updates, helping move a high volume of customers to new account instructions within a compressed timeline
Partner with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and treasury teams to execute the project plan and resolve operational issues quickly
Monitor project risks, escalation points, and timing constraints related to peak business periods, and implement practical solutions to reduce disruption
Track progress across account transitions, customer conversions, and vendor changes, providing clear status updates to leadership
Support any required banking-related process updates tied to the transition and ensure documentation is maintained accurately
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience managing treasury or finance projects involving bank migration or banking relationship changes
Strong background in corporate treasury, treasury management, and cash management operations
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
CPA highly preferred
Proven ability to lead complex, deadline-driven initiatives affecting customers, vendors, and cross-functional finance teams
Experience coordinating banking setup activities, payment process changes, and stakeholder communications
Solid project management skills with the ability to execute an established plan and adapt to operational challenges
Effective collaboration skills across accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, and external banking partners
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with close attention to accuracy and business continuity
