Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Treasury Associate to be part of Intraday Liquidity Management. The individual will be responsible for multiple functions within the buildout of the intraday liquidity function.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support finance, accounting and Business Line management on matters related to corporate treasury and related financial management
  • Review global market conditions, funding requirements, asset and liability management, liquidity risk management, capital management, financial performance management, capital, and related activities
  • Ensure data quality and establish controlled processes
  • Collaborate with Internal Audit, Corporate Risk Management and Model Governance teams as well as outside parties including regulatory agencies and accounting and consulting firms
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Work as a team member in Intraday Liquidity Management, perform various BAU tasks
  • Build out various dashboards based on data analytics on Intraday liquidity data
  • Research to understand how the funds are used on Intraday Basis by corporates and present the findings & analysis to the senior Management to facilitate various decision making
  • Monitor and evaluate global market conditions, asset liability and liquidity risk management
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
  • Collaborate with Internal Audit, Corporate Risk Management and Model Governance teams as well as outside parties including regulatory agencies, accounting and consulting firms
  • Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives
  • Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Requirements:

  • 6+ months of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Chartered Accountant / MBA finance
  • Strong years of Treasury experience
  • Advanced Power BI Skills and experience in preparing top notch dash boards and presentation of the same to Senior Management
  • Intermediate skillset in SQL
  • Advance skill set in making top notch PPT's
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy and ability to turn findings into executable plans to meet business objectives
  • Ability to prepare presentations, management reporting, and statistical analysis
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial analysis, time series analysis, and other modeling techniques
  • Experience with data analysis techniques and programs (SQL, Tableau)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) skill
