Our client, a growing oilfield services company, is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join their team. This is a high-visibility opportunity to work directly with an active CFO and gain hands-on exposure to treasury, cash management, banking operations, and corporate finance. This role offers a unique blend of responsibilities, with ~50% focused on treasury and ~50% supporting accounting operations, making it ideal for someone early in their career looking to accelerate development.
Job Responsibility
Manage daily banking activity and corporate accounts
Oversee and monitor ~25 corporate credit cards
Assist with short-term cash forecasting and liquidity planning
Partner with the CFO on payment prioritization and vendor scheduling
Identify opportunities to streamline banking processes and reduce fees
Support collections and payment follow-ups with customers/vendors
Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Provide general support to the accounting team as needed
Requirements
2-3 years of experience in finance, treasury, accounting, or banking
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Strong Excel and systems skills
Highly organized with a structured, detail-oriented approach
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
CPA or CFA pursuit is a plus
At least 2 years of experience in treasury, finance, accounting, banking, or a closely related field
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or another relevant discipline
Strong Excel proficiency and confidence working with financial systems and data tools
Demonstrated ability to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail
Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate financial information and solve problems effectively
Self-motivated approach with a willingness to learn quickly and take direction from senior team members
Progress toward a certification such as CPA, CFA, or a similar designation is a plus
