Job Description:

A growing real estate organization headquartered in Edison, New Jersey is seeking an experienced Treasurer to join an expanding team. This newly created position reflects the company’s continued growth and commitment to strong financial stewardship. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and detail-oriented who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to shape the organization’s liquidity and treasury operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Align budget projections with cash flow forecasts to ensure operational viability
  • Oversee weekly cash flow projections and take proactive steps to address liquidity needs
  • Develop and refine tools to enhance liquidity and treasury management processes
  • Identify and cultivate new, cost-effective sources of on- and off-balance-sheet liquidity, including relationships with banks, foundations, and other financial institutions
  • Invest excess cash while minimizing credit, counterparty, and interest rate risks
  • Supervise accurate and timely financial reporting, accounting, and tax responsibilities for multiple entities
  • Lead annual financial statement audits and tax filings
  • Provide periodic reports to the Board of Directors on liquidity, compliance, and financial performance
  • Deliver budget-to-actual analyses and ensure accuracy of intercompany accounts and reconciliations
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to project and manage asset and liability cash flows, interest rate exposure, and liquidity risk

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
  • Any experience with Yardi is highly preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in treasury, corporate finance, or real estate finance
  • Strong analytical and cash management skills with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
