Job Description:

The town of Norton seeks a qualified and experienced municipal finance professional to serve as Treasurer–Collector. This is a senior, non-union management position reporting directly to the Town Manager, responsible for the collection, custody, investment, and disbursement of municipal funds in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws and best practices. The Treasurer–Collector exercises independent professional judgment in overseeing cash management, investments, debt service, payroll coordination, tax collections, and the enforcement of delinquent accounts. The position plays a critical role in safeguarding the town’s financial assets and supporting long-term fiscal stability.
