Join Our Team! Treasurer/Collector – Town of Paxton. The town of Paxton is seeking a skilled and motivated Treasurer/Collector to join our municipal leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who is committed to public service and fiscal excellence.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee the collection and accounting of all town receivables, including real estate and personal property taxes, motor vehicle excise taxes, and various municipal fees
  • Manage the deposit and investment of collected funds
  • Ensure that all operating and capital obligations are met efficiently and on schedule

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, public administration, or a related field
  • Three to five years of experience in accounting, business, or finance—preferably in a public sector environment
