Job Description

This is a truly exceptional opportunity for an experienced, adventurous Travelling Nanny to join a close-knit UHNW family who live life to the full. Based between London, Ireland and Barbados, the family split their year across three stunning locations and they want their nanny along for every adventure. The successful candidate will work on a shared care basis alongside the mother and current Live-in Nanny, travelling with the family for all extended periods, including the full winter season in Barbados (typically November through March/April). A Maternity Nurse will cover the new baby for the first 6 – 7 months, giving you time to settle in before your responsibilities grow. Both parents are hands-on and deeply involved in their children's lives.

Job Responsibility

  • Providing nurturing, high-quality care for three children (ages 3, 1, and newborn)
  • Maintaining the children's well-established routines with consistency and warmth
  • Working collaboratively with the existing nanny, sharing rotas to ensure full seven-day cover
  • Acting as sole-charge, proxy-parent carer when parents are travelling or unavailable
  • Preparing fresh, nutritious meals for the children
  • Managing all nursery duties — children's laundry, keeping bedrooms and playrooms tidy
  • Travelling internationally with the family, including the full winter season in Barbados
  • Being flexible for occasional evening cover (compensated as overtime)

Requirements

  • Experience of working with babies and young children of similar ages, with strong references
  • Someone who stays – longevity with previous families is highly valued
  • Energetic, fun and playful with children, yet calm and professional with parents
  • Genuinely excited by travel and completely comfortable being away from home for extended periods
  • A confident, competent swimmer
  • A confident flyer, happy to travel internationally at short notice
  • In possession of a full, clean driving licence
  • Fluent in English
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Comfortable sharing a home with a dog
  • First Aid qualified, or willing to obtain qualification before starting
  • Able to complete an Enhanced DBS check and any other required background checks

What we offer

  • Private accommodation provided at every location
  • Chef prepared meals in Barbados
  • Full housekeeping support at every property
  • Overtime pay for any evening cover
