Job Description:

Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company, has an immediate opening for a Concrete/Soils/Aggregate Laboratory Technician in Arizona. Traveling requirements include, but are not limited to, extended periods of time, which could be till completion of project, in remote locations with work days and times dependent on testing needs.

Requirements:

  • Experience in laboratory testing for soils, concrete, aggregate and/or asphalt
  • Certification in ATTI and ACI
  • Knowledge regarding standard laboratory test methods including asphalt content by ignition, marshall/gyratory, maximum theoretical density, sand equivalent, uncompacted voids, proctors, sieves, Atterberg Limits, Compression, Sampling, and splitting of samples
  • ATTI/ASTM/AASHTO, NAQTC and a current ACI certification
  • Excellent mathematical, computer, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Good organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Current valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds repeatedly as part of daily duties
