Traveling Jewelry QA Specialist

• Visit partner facilities to perform on-site inspections
• Review in-process and completed pieces against QC standards
• Verify stone setting, metal work, sizing, and surface finish accuracy
• Document results with photos and clear pass/fail notes
• Identify workmanship issues and recurring trends
• escalate when needed
• Partner with vendors to address and resolve quality concerns
• Support random outbound and return audit program
• Provide weekly reporting on inspections, findings, and recommendations

• 3+ years experience in fine jewelry QC or bench jewelry
• Strong understanding of stone setting, polishing, casting, and assembly
• Skilled with loupe, calipers, and standard inspection tools
• Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
• Professional communication with vendors and internal teams
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel frequently within NY/NJ

• Experience working with multiple vendors or suppliers
• Understanding of diamond and gemstone quality standards
• Background in luxury or high-volume jewelry manufacturing
