Seeking a dedicated Traveling Federal Construction Superintendent to join our client's team to perform work across the US. Our client is a leading construction firm specializing in federal projects, dedicated to delivering high-quality results while adhering to strict safety and security standards. Their team is made up of skilled professionals committed to excellence in the construction industry. We are seeking a dedicated Traveling Federal Construction Superintendent to join our client's team and contribute to their expanding portfolio of federal projects.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee and manage construction projects ranging from $1 to $5 million, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with project managers and site teams to coordinate daily operations and maintain project schedules
  • Perform quality control and safety inspections, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and standards
  • Utilize tools as necessary to assist in construction tasks and mentor team members on best practices
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a proven track record of completing relevant projects
  • Experience building SCIFs is a huge plus
  • Current US Government Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred) required for consideration
  • Experience working on Department of Defense (DOD) sites, with knowledge of clearance and badging processes
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel 100% of the time
  • Willingness to work with tools when necessary.

Nice to have

  • Experience building SCIFs is a huge plus
  • Top Secret clearance preferred
