Job Description:

Traveling clinical lab assistants are healthcare professionals who perform essential laboratory tasks while working in various locations. These roles involve collecting, processing, and analyzing samples to support medical diagnoses and treatments. Unlike traditional lab assistants, traveling professionals operate in different settings, including hospitals, clinics, and mobile labs, providing critical support wherever they are needed most.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collecting blood, tissue, and other biological samples from patients
  • Preparing specimens for analysis using advanced laboratory techniques
  • Recording and maintaining accurate lab results for healthcare providers
  • Ensuring all laboratory equipment meets safety and quality standards

Requirements:

  • Completion of a clinical laboratory technician or medical laboratory science program
  • Certification through recognized organizations such as the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)
  • Technical expertise in laboratory equipment and diagnostic procedures
  • Strong communication
