Job Description:

We are seeking a licensed Audiologist to provide care at skilled nursing facilities throughout Florida. This is a part-time position, working one week per month (4 days). All travel expenses are reimbursed. Interested candidates must already be licensed in Florida. As an Aria Care Partners’ clinician, your responsibilities include providing bedside clinical care to patients from the disabled to the elderly in skilled nursing facilities. Ultimately, you will ensure the accurate diagnosis and treatment of hearing conditions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing bedside clinical care to patients from the disabled to the elderly in skilled nursing facilities
  • Ensure the accurate diagnosis and treatment of hearing conditions
  • Providing hearing care to long-term residents in skilled nursing facilities including: Conduct otoscopic exams
  • Diagnose and treat hearing loss using mobile audiology equipment
  • Dispensing, programming, maintaining and repairing hearing aids
  • Cerumen removal
  • Recommend appropriate patient follow-up and care options
  • Deliver outstanding customer service through all patient interactions
  • Attend clinics solo
  • responsible for all electronic progress note documentation and emailing completed notes to facilities

Requirements:

  • Licensed Audiologist
  • Must already be licensed in Florida
  • Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record
  • Experience in providing hearing care to long-term residents in skilled nursing facilities
  • Experience with medical based hearing care – wax removal, tympanometry, hearing tests, hearing aid dispenses
  • Ability to attend clinics solo, responsible for all charting & sending notes to facilities
  • Willingness to drive at least 2-hour drive per clinic day (max 2.5 hours)
