Our client is a leading travel company who specialises in worldwide destinations working with through both B2C and B2B channels. Due to continued growth, they are now recruiting for a detail-oriented Travel Finance Administration Assistant to help manage financial transactions and records for their travel operations. Financial or administration experience gained in the travel or tourism industry is preferred but not essential. This role ensures accurate financial reporting and efficient management of day-to-day financial tasks. This role is office based - North London.
Job Responsibility
Process invoices from overseas suppliers and investigating discrepancies, liaising between different departments to ensure accuracy
Reconcile all bank accounts
Running client debtors reports and chasing money owed
Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accuracy in all financial entries
Requirements
Previous finance or administration experience gained within the travel or hospitality industry preferred but not essential
Ability to multi-task and good organisational skills
Experience of dealing with a variety of bank accounts and suppliers
Good interpersonal skills are key to maintain good relationships and lines of communications with supplier accounts departments
