A respectful and internationally based family are seeking an exceptional Travel Rota Nanny (Norland, Chiltern, or Early Years qualified) to join their established childcare team on a three or four week on/off schedule. Although a long rota pattern, there would be down time and even a couple of evenings off. This is a unique opportunity to support two delightful young children aged 2.5 years and 6 months in a shared care capacity. Working in close partnership with another experienced nanny and hands-on, engaged parents, the successful candidate will provide attentive, developmentally focused care while maintaining the structured routines and high standards the family value. This long-term position is ideal for a polished childcare professional who thrives in well-organised environments, enjoys international travel, and brings calm confidence, discretion and consistency to a dynamic household.
Job Responsibility
Deliver exceptional care to both children, aged 2.5 and six months, whilst ensuring consistency and stability across multiple residences/time zones
Provide full nursery duties to the highest professional standard
Maintain immaculate organisation of children’s bedrooms, wardrobes, and play areas
Prepare fresh, nutritious meals and oversee weaning and feeding routines
Establish and maintain structured daily routines, including sleep, feeding, and developmental activities
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and play-based activities to support early learning
Monitor developmental milestones and provide feedback to parents
Confidently manage the needs of two young children at different developmental stages
Administer medication as required and liaise with healthcare professionals when necessary
Maintain meticulous health, sleep, and feeding records where required
Manage nursery/school drop-offs and collections when applicable
Organise playdates, outings, and social opportunities to support social development
Travel internationally with the family and ensure continuity of routines across locations
Work collaboratively with parents, rota nanny, and wider household staff to ensure seamless care and handovers
Requirements
A Norland, Chiltern and Early Years Degree
A minimum of six years’ professional nanny experience
Right to work in the UK
Demonstrable rota experience in private households
Proven experience caring for multiple young children simultaneously
Strong understanding of early years development, sleep routines, and structured childcare environments
