Job Description:

Our client is a well established, privately owned tour operator who sell exclusively through travel trade partners. Their product range features flights, hotels, worldwide tours, cruises featuring bespoke and multi centre itineraries. Due to growth, they are now recruiting for Travel Reservations Consultants to join their team who will be responsible for delivering high-quality sales and service support to customers. The role includes handling new and existing reservations, ensuring customers receive accurate advice, efficient booking management, and an excellent end-to-end travel experience while meeting individual and team sales targets. The working hours are between Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm, occasional Saturdays, no Sundays or Bank Holidays.

Job Responsibility:

  • Answering all enquiries promptly, ensuring all service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met whilst meeting sales targets
  • Handling customer enquiries efficiently, professionally, and in line with company service standards
  • Providing accurate general and destination-specific travel advice for worldwide and European travel products
  • Make booking amendments accurately within the GDS system, ensuring compliance with airline rules and fare conditions
  • Resolve booking issues efficiently while maintaining customer satisfaction and retention

Requirements:

  • Previous travel experience is essential
  • Strong customer service focus with excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and multi task

  • Excellent worldwide destination knowledge
  • Sales-driven mindset with the ability to build rapport with travel partners
  • Knowledge of a major GDS (ideally)
