Job Description:

The Travel Manager is responsible for overseeing a small team across the business to ensure that all aspects of corporate travel deliver cost-effective, secure, and efficient arrangements for 2Excel employees. Key duties involve formulating strict travel policies, negotiating agreements with vendors, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with both organisational and regulatory standards. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to streamline travel logistics and sustain business operations. Exceptional skills in analysis, communication, and problem-solving are fundamental requirements. The manager is expected to track industry trends and implement enhancements that improve employee satisfaction and operational effectiveness. This position is integral to supporting strategic mobility and upholding high service standards throughout the organisation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain detailed travel policies and procedures
  • Negotiate and administer contracts with travel vendors and service providers
  • Oversee travel budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility and efficiency

Requirements:

  • Develop and maintain accurate training videos and documentation, SOPs, FAQs and functional specific documentation as needed
  • Work with the travel and expense management vendors to resolve travel-related issues
  • Create monthly travel reporting, ad-hoc management reporting on travel and expense, cross-functional reporting support and KPI reporting
  • Prepare, review and/or approve expense account reconciliations, monthly accruals, prepayment tracking and ad hoc reporting as needed
  • Lead moderately complex projects and programs within the Finance department, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals
