Job Description

Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking a Travel Industry Sales Manager responsible for generating non-negotiated transient business through strategic prospecting, direct sales efforts, and relationship building with key travel industry partners. This role actively solicits and secures business through in-person sales calls, tradeshows, networking, and digital outreach, working closely with the Sales and Marketing team to meet budgeted revenue goals and maximize RevPAR. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong independent judgment, accountability for achieving sales targets, and a passion for representing the Four Seasons brand while driving resort awareness and overall hotel success.

Job Responsibility

  • Actively solicit, negotiate, and manage travel agent, wholesale, and transient accounts to drive room nights, RevPAR, and achievement of monthly and annual revenue goals
  • Identify, develop, and execute strategic account plans for key travel agencies and target accounts while protecting Golden Selling Hours and prioritizing active selling and business development
  • Leverage company sales tools, systems, and programs (including Opera, TravelClick, BI tools, and Four Seasons sales platforms) to prospect, secure, and manage assigned market segments
  • Build strong client relationships through sales calls, site inspections, FAM trips, in-house client visits, and participation in industry and local networking organizations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with catering, group sales, and marketing teams to cross-sell opportunities, support promotions, and maximize overall business potential
  • Maintain accurate sales administration and reporting, including CRM hygiene, account documentation, correspondence, monthly recaps, action plans, and contribution to the annual marketing plan
  • Represent Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village as a brand ambassador by demonstrating professionalism, service excellence, strong communication skills, and flexibility in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment

Requirements

  • Luxury hotel Sales preferred (minimum of 3 years) or 3 – 5 operational hotel experience
  • Proven sales track record a plus
  • College Degree – 4 years or equivalent experience
  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English
  • Computer skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Golden Sales & Catering, IDeaS, TravelClick, and Opera
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
