Job Description

Travel Consultant required for this luxury travel company based in a great location in the West End. They are looking for a travel industry reservations agent who has travelled extensively in South America or sold the area as part of their job. Salary between 30/35k plus up to 10k comm in your first first plus benefits. Monday to Friday with 8 Saturdays per year. Hybrid 4 days in the office in central London after passing probation.

Job Responsibility

  • Creating memorable journeys to Latin America and Central America, looking after the clients from initial contact through to building itineraries, confirming travel arrangements, making contact upon their return, and setting up their next exciting experience
  • Tailor making each trip to the clients requirements, booking products such as hotels, flights, car hire, cruises, tours, day trips

Requirements

  • Passionate about travel, especially to Latin and Central America
  • Excellent knowledge of the travel industry working in a sales role
  • Experience as a senior Luxury Travel Sales specialising in the above areas would be a massive advantage
  • Sales driven and focused

  • Follow company procedures, account guidelines and customer service standards in the area of making travel arrangements, ticketing, Phase IVs, ticket exchanges/changes, CRS/GDS productivity
  • Communication and relationship management with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work as a team member and assist other agents as needed in completing all functions related to servicing the client
  • Deliver on travel and requests within designated SLAs
