Job Description

As a Travel Consultant, you will work full time, on site in our Worcester retail store, on a rotating roster across a 7-day trade. This is a target-driven sales role where success is measured through KPIs, revenue, conversion, and customer satisfaction. You will take ownership of the customer journey from first enquiry through to booking and follow-up, selling complete travel solutions - not just flights.

Job Responsibility

  • Convert customer enquiries into confirmed bookings through consultative sales conversations
  • Work toward individual KPIs and sales targets, earning commission on every sale
  • Sell end-to-end travel solutions including flights, accommodation, tours, cruises, car hire, transfers, and travel insurance
  • Build a loyal base of new and repeat customers — from simple domestic trips to complex international holidays
  • Manage multiple customers and communication channels at once (in-store, phone, email) in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Use booking systems and supplier tools to quote, upsell, book, and follow up accurately and efficiently

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a customer-facing, target-driven sales role, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets and upselling products or services
  • Strong communication skills and confidence selling in person and over the phone
  • High attention to detail and strong computer skills, with confidence using multiple, complex systems
  • International travel experience
