Job Responsibility

Prioritizes and coordinates the activities for the Trauma Registry in order to meet schedules and deadlines
Maintains current and accurate procedures and practices
Performs a variety of data collection activities from direct chart abstraction and enters into a comprehensive computerized data management system
Acts as a liaison/facilitator with the Trauma Program Manager, Medical Director and QI Coordinator to provide reports on a scheduled and ad hoc basis
Collects Trauma data for injury research and prevention, as well as quality improvement tracking
Assures accuracy and confidentiality in the handling of all Trauma Registry related matters
Is concerned with and active in the improvement of Trauma Program within the facility
