3+ years of experience in freight forwarding, particularly in handling OOG and heavy lift cargo
In-depth understanding of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance
Proven experience in managing logistics for complex industrial projects
Proficiency in logistics software, tender management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Responsibility

Prepare detailed cost estimates for transportation, handling, permits, and any additional services required

Manage project budgets and track expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness
Develop comprehensive transportation plans tailored to the unique requirements of OOG and heavy lift cargo
Coordinate with clients to understand their specific cargo needs, timelines, and delivery locations
Create and manage project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of cargo
Evaluate and select the most suitable routes and modes of transport (road, rail, sea, or air) based on cargo specifications, cost-efficiency, and safety considerations
Perform route surveys to assess any potential obstacles or limitations and ensure safe passage of cargo
