Job Responsibility:

  • Project oversight including setting priorities and developing objectives, project financial management as well as hands-on involvement in the design process
  • Serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team
  • Project engineering and management
  • Business development activities including proposal preparation, project interviews/presentations, and client management
  • Professional society involvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 8 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design
  • Knowledge of FDOT design and standards
  • PE license in FL
  • Experience in business development and project development processes, including marketing activities, client development, project tracking and proposal development

Nice to have:

  • Project Management experience with the Florida Department of Transportation
  • Staff management and proven leadership experience
  • Experience with MicroStation, Open Roads Design (ORD), AutoCAD and Civil3D software
