Job Responsibility:

Project oversight including setting priorities and developing objectives, project financial management as well as hands-on involvement in the design process
Serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team
Project engineering and management
Business development activities including proposal preparation, project interviews/presentations, and client management
Professional society involvement

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum of 8 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design
Knowledge of FDOT design and standards
PE license in FL
Experience in business development and project development processes, including marketing activities, client development, project tracking and proposal development

Nice to have:

Project Management experience with the Florida Department of Transportation
Staff management and proven leadership experience
Experience with MicroStation, Open Roads Design (ORD), AutoCAD and Civil3D software
