This is a customer-facing role responsible for providing wayfinding assistance and general transportation information while overseeing interior campus lot operations, including crowd control and efficient traffic flow for a large-scale corporate shuttle system transporting 20,000 Boeing employees daily. Working primarily outdoors (~70% of time), the supervisor ensures smooth operations across a 24/7 transportation network while collaborating with Transportation Customer Service Leads, vendors, and suppliers. The position requires flexibility to cover various shifts and escalate incidents to transportation leadership as needed.
Job Responsibility:
Working with transportation leadership to maintain optimal service levels in the field
Managing crowd control and traffic flow in interior campus parking lots during peak shuttle operations
Interfacing directly with Boeing employees, clients, and customers to ensure positive transportation experiences
Coordinating with vendors and suppliers to maintain operational efficiency
Escalating incidents, safety concerns, and operational issues to transportation leadership
Working collaboratively with Transportation Customer Service Leads on each shift
Conducting field inspections and maintaining service quality standards
Adapting to changing operational needs across different shift requirements
Requirements:
2+ years of supervisory experience in customer service or operations
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
Strong communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders including employees, clients, and vendors
Demonstrated ability to manage crowd control and traffic flow operations
Flexibility to work across multiple shifts and cover operational needs
Experience with incident management and escalation procedures
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Nice to have:
Experience in transportation, logistics, or facility operations
